LATAM AIRLINES GROUP is looking to appoint a Sales Executive to join the Commercial Management team in Frankfurt, Germany covering a period of maternity leave unit June 2019.
In this position the main task is to manage the sales of the markets under your responsibility within the leisure and corporate segments of the industry while maintaining a close relationship with current clients as well as acquiring new connections for potential businesses.
Specific role definitions:
- Key participation in the definition of the market strategy revised to each segment, as well as keeping a close grip on target clients with the necessary actions for further development and improvement.
- Identifying selling possibilities through regular market research while evaluating customer needs.
- Regular and timely review of the monthly and yearly results in order to generate or adjust the action plan for each market.
- Active identification and development of new sales opportunities
- Participation in exhibitions, conferences or roadshows on behalf of the company.
- Support with client training concerning the company’s products, procedures and network.
Qualifications:
- Academic degree/diploma or similar.
- Minimum of three years commercial experience in the airline industry as Key Account Manager or relevant role
- GDS Knowledge: Amadeus & Sabre (preferably Sabre)
- Solid control of the English and Spanish language on a business level. Knowledge of German and Portuguese of advantage.
- Commercial and analysis skills (70/30) as well as organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, multi-functional environment as well as interpersonal skills required.
- Organized, proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques with varied parties to reach a final agreement.
